REGISTRATION DETAILS!

The 2020 baseball season is quickly approaching. Registration flyers will be passed out throughout the elementary schools in the winter and our online registration will soon available.

WE ARE PROUD TO ANNOUNCE THAT REGISTRATION FEES HAVE STAYED THE SAME FOR THE THIRD YEAR IN A ROW!

The 2020 registration fees are broken down as follows:

MAXIMUM PAYMENT PER FAMILY IS $685.00

NO REFUNDS AFTER MAY 3, 2020

GENERAL INFORMATION

REGISTRATION:

Registration closes April 15, 2020.

Registrations received on or before that date will be guaranteed a team placement.  Registrations received after April 15, 2020 will be charged a $15.00 administration fee and  placed on a waiting list.  Due to the increase in registrations, late registrants cannot be guaranteed a team.  No refunds will be issued after May 3, 2020.

Our online registration accepts 3 methods of payments: Visa, MasterCard, Visa/Debit.

In-person registrations are no longer accepted.

Players will be required to provide their own batting helmet with strap.


INDOOR EVALUATIONS:

Indoor evaluations for Rookie Ball, Mosquito, Pee Wee and Bantam will take place at the Northern Community Centre on Sunday, May 3, 2020 between 6:00pm and 9:00pm.  Failure to attend the indoor evaluation will result in the player being subject to a random team assignment.

SPECIAL REQUESTS:

T-Ball to Midget:
You must register your child in the appropriate aged division.  If you request that your son/daughter be moved up/down a division, please request it now. SMBA will make every effort to accommodate special requests however, please note that there are no guarantees that all requests can be accommodated.  A decision for all requests will be made after the Evaluation Night and before the drafts.

Open League: 
Please identify your team name, team manager, or a group of players you wish to play with.

SOO BLACK SOX:

Tryouts for the respective Black Sox teams will begin indoors throughout the winter/spring.  Please visit the respective Black Sox pages on our website for more information on tryout dates and times.

VOLUNTEERS NEEDED:

Please consider volunteering as a coach or as an executive member.  Our association runs strictly on volunteers and is always welcoming the help in all areas.  We will approve volunteer hours for high school students. Check our executive page for vacancies.

SPONSORS:

We need team sponsors!  As a sponsor, your business logo will be printed on the jerseys, the team name will be in the standings and schedules, and your logo will appear on the website.

If you are a business owner or know a business owner looking to get great exposure up to 500 people per night, please contact us immediately to arrange this.  Other advertising opportunities are available through banners on fences and scoreboards.

Please include a valid email address to ensure you will receive all communications over the course of the season.

REFUND POLICY:

We do not refund any player registration fees after May 3, 2020. Players wishing to obtain a refund due to any reason may request for one prior to this date.  Withdraw prior to May 3, 2020 will result in a $30.00 administrative fee. There are no exceptions after May 3, 2020.
